Wantirna South: Escape of Liquid

G&P are regularly engaged to complete Forensic Causation reports, including a detailed Scope of Works, for insurance claims due to an Escape of Liquid (EOL).

EOL claims can include leaks from existing stormwater or sewerage lines and water supply lines (hot & cold lines). G&P analyses the cause of damage to the building, including any influences from other causes such as poor surface drainage, the drying effects of trees within close vicinity to the building and the soil reactivity with respect to the site’s geology. Our analysis of the structure includes the use of floor level surveying and calculations regarding floor level deflections and tilt to assist with determining the extent of structural augmentation works such as underpinning.

G&P were engaged to complete a Forensic Causation report for this property in Wantirna South. The dwelling had structural concerns regarding floor tilt and deflection levels, as well as moderate cracks throughout.
